The award-winning French Canadian musicians of Skye Consort team up with renowned Swedish folk-trad singer Emma Björling for two nights of trans-Atlantic chamber folk music in Eau Claire, WI. Rooted in Scandinavian, Québecois, and Celtic folk traditions, their original songs and arrangements blend with baroque influences, sung in Swedish, French, and English. Performed on instruments ranging from banjo and bouzouki to nyckelharpa, fiddle, and cello, their music includes songs, ballads, polskas, and shanties sure to captivate audiences of all ages.
